What is MailPanda, in one sentence?
MailPanda is an AI email marketer for your store: it studies your brand, designs your campaigns and automatic emails, and sends nothing without your approval.
Do I need to know anything about email marketing?
No — that’s the point. MailPanda proposes what to send and when, explains why, and writes and designs everything. Your job is to read each email like a customer and say “yes” or “change this”.
Is my store too small for this?
If you have a store and any customers at all, no. The automatic emails (welcome, abandoned checkout, post-purchase) earn from your very first subscribers — small stores are exactly who MailPanda was built for. You don’t need a big list to start; you need the right emails running while the list grows.
How much does it cost?
It starts with a 14-day free trial, no card required. Paid plans are listed at mailpanda.ai and billed monthly or annually with no long-term contract. The Shopify app itself is free to install. Details in Billing & your free trial.
Do I need Klaviyo?
No. Connect your Shopify store and MailPanda handles everything including the sending. If you already use Klaviyo, connect it instead and MailPanda publishes finished emails into your Klaviyo account as drafts. See Connecting Shopify or Klaviyo.
Can MailPanda send emails without me knowing?
No. Every email goes through your Approvals queue first. If you don’t approve it, it doesn’t send — ever. See Flows, campaigns & approvals.
Is my customer data safe?
Your data is used to design and send your emails — nothing else. We don’t sell it or use one store’s customer list to benefit another. Disconnecting Shopify or Klaviyo revokes access immediately, and you can request deletion of your data any time. Full details in our privacy policy.
Will emails come from my brand or from MailPanda?
From your brand. Your name, your reply address, your look. New stores can start on MailPanda’s pre-verified sending domain (replies still come straight to you), and verifying your own domain takes a guided few minutes — see Deliverability & sending from your own domain.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of what you paid for, and any flows already published to your Klaviyo account keep running there — they’re yours. No cancellation fees, no exit interview.
How do I talk to a human?
The chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of the app (when you’re signed in), or support@mailpanda.ai. We answer within one business day, usually much faster.
